A LITTLE TEE SISTERS STORY

Mom Vans Are The Best

Moving? Taking your kids to soccer? Or maybe transporting a miniature pony? A mom van has your back.

If you’re anything like Fena, you’ll use the car for all of the above.

True story: one time, our mom thought it would be a brilliant idea to get a miniature pony. And that’s how Wall-E trotted into our lives.

Wall-E in the Car

See that? Wouldn’t have fit into your Toyota Corolla.

To promote our then-new horse business, we decided to take Wall-E to our local downtown.

In our infinite wisdom, we didn’t put a tarp down in the van. Big mistake. About 40 minutes into our adventure, Wall-E unleashed chaos all over the car.

We spent weeks trying to get the smell out. (Pro tip: Baking soda is magic)

But you know what? It was totally worth it. A ton of kiddos got to pet a real life pony, and Wall-E was temporarily a local legend.

Moral of the story: Mom vans are amazing. They can handle anything. Kids, groceries, soccer gear, ponies, and even the aftermath of a poopocalypse.

HOT TOPIC

Let Them Eat Cake!

To the surprise of absolutely no one, fake news is not new. But how long can fake news actually live before the facts are corrected?

By my calculation, at least 232 year, because that’s how long ago Marie Antoinette was beheaded.

For those who haven't dusted off their high school world history books lately: Marie Antoinette was the Queen of France, and she (along with her husband) weren’t exactly winning any “Best Ruler" awards.

Marie Antoinette

So the French people revolted.

Close to the peak of the revolution, Marie was famously quoted as saying, "Let them eat cake," when the starving masses couldn't even afford bread.

Here’s the crazy part: the earliest known source linking that quote to Marie was published more than 50 years after the French Revolution. Yep, half a century later.

Pretty insane, right? That's misinformation from over two centuries ago—and people still believe it today.

Now imagine the falsehoods that spread like wildfire in the age of Twitter, TikTok, and some guy on YouTube.

Is embroidery back?

We’ve been seeing a lot of embroidered goods back on the market. But just because something is being sold doesn’t mean people are buying. So, what do you think?

A TEE SISTER LESSON

Our Fox Is Our Best Seller

Woah, woah — this isn’t anything weird. All we're saying is that out current bestseller has a fox on it.

This new addition to the store has led to way more sales than we expected, and we’re super excited about it!

Which brings us to the real point: originality sells.

A lot of people in the print-on-demand world just copy each other.

Same mockups, same designs, maybe a slightly tweaked listing. And at that point? The consumer’s just going to buy whatever's cheaper.

Take a look at the stores above, they’re using the same lettering, same coloring, and nearly identical designs.

And next to the shirts you can see the store where they bought the font/design.

We’re not saying any of that is inherently bad but it’s easier to sell better when you can stand out.

Like these popular shirts that all look different - but are selling great.

All we’re saying is don’t be afraid to try new things. Keep creating until you find something people love and be the one to create the trends.
