A LITTLE TEE SISTERS STORY

We Poked at a Grill, Not an iPad 

As you might have guessed by the subject line, Leeza and Fena did not spend their childhood brain-rotting on social media.

We were out of the house since 7am and didn’t get back until 9pm. Our mother wanted us TIRED.

We’d do every extracurricular imaginable. Crocheting, painting, theater, piano, gymnastics, ceramics, swim, you name it.

And on the weekend, we would always be outdoors. In a forest grilling with our grandma for example 😅. We were poking at a grill, not an iPad.

When we did sit in front of a screen during the day, it was before bed to watch a cartoon episode that aired every night for little kids.

We had one button phone to share. A Nokia. The one that was like a brick. We probably charged it 1 time over the course of a couple years 😂. We also had a teeny tiny phone before the Nokia that had a total of 6 buttons on it.

Moral of the story → This creative development allowed us to grow into very well-rounded and thoughtful individuals. We might have given our mother crap about not having screen time when we were younger, but we sure thank her for not doing it now. 

So if you see parents put the responsibility of parenting unto social media, have the tough conversation that hopefully urges them not to do so anymore. Especially with the awful things going on social media today that really mess with underdeveloped children’s brains.

For those in the back, astrology is not used by scientists to send people into space. 

We love female empowerment. But is it really that empowering to have an all-female crew that didn’t work their butt off their entire lives to be able to go to space?

Especially one that stared into the camera most of the time while floating around the Blue Origin craft?
