A LITTLE TEE SISTERS STORY
We Went Separate Paths
When our mother brought us to the U.S., the goal in school was simple: straight A’s, extra curriculars, clubs, get scholarships, graduate college, get a good job.
And it was more than fair. Our mom sacrificed a lot to come to the U.S. And she invested into our development as much as she could.
By freshman year in high school, we were on track. We’ve had so many credits completed, we could’ve graduated already.
But one day in class, Leeza thought to herself “4-6 more years of this? 5-7 hours a day, 5 days a week? All to learn things 95% of which I’m never gonna use”. It hit her like a truck and all she could think about was graduating early and taking all that time she now has to learn marketing through active work and courses from some leaders in the space.
After all, credential inflation has been worse than ever and people with degrees had trouble getting jobs, even low paying ones. What companies wanted (and still do) was experience, and the best time to get it (and the actual best way to learn) is by doing it. And just trust you can sell yourself like that. Cause let’s be honest, the ROI on that loan? It’s gonna take years to even make up for the money you spent on college.
Fast forward, Leeza graduated early after she finished sophomore year. Fena finished off high school and sped though her credits, and become one of the youngest people in college to finish off a degree that fast.
And despite disagreement about college, we still loved the idea of working together. Fena wanted to go to college, so Leeza respected that and supported her in it, and when Leeza didn’t want to go, Fena did the same.
In the picture above, Fena was graduating from school and Leeza was already deep-in working in marketing and social media.
HOT TOPIC
The New Pope is American!
But the cool thing is that his projected chance of winning was 1%!

First American pope - cool huh?
You know us, we like looking at hot topics from a business lens!
And that’s how we figured out that people actually submitted bets on betting platforms for who was going to be the next pope.
Because the chance of Roper Prevost winning were so low, MILLIONS were lost.
Buttttt. Someone won!
A trader turned $526 into $52,641 - you can see Kalshi’s announcement of that here.
Now we’re not saying gambling is a good business strategy…
But if you have some play money you normally use on Starbucks…?
